Built an SKX013 diver from scratch for my partner’s birthday. Really nice bezel insert, she loves it!
It feels amazing and looks amazing, the ceramic is absolutely gorgeous. However, I had a double domed sapphire crystal and didn't pay attention when installing it. This insert has a 27mm inner diameter and a 33.6mm outer diameter, so be wary if you have a regular double domed sapphire crystal that doesn't have a bevel/design to accept 27mm inserts. A double dome will make it so it can only take inserts with a 28mm inner diameter. Lesson learned.
The options for bezel inserts are vast, but after some time this was my choice for my first scratch build.
I wanted to whole watch to be simple and straightforward.
