Our SKX Slim Caseback in Gold Finish is a whopping 55% thinner (0.8mm vs 1.8mm) and 40% lighter (9g vs 15g) than our standard SKX caseback, and is rated to a water resistance of 10 ATM. Not appropriate for actual diving - but it'll do great for desk diving, swimming pools, and showers. What, you don't shower with your watch on?!

I built this watch as a gift for a friend and wanted him to get the full effect of the mechanical movement. Now I feel like I need one for myself!
I like the slimmer profile and weight savings with this, but I mostly got it to give a better match for a gunmetal watch build. This matched the build and gave better water resistance than the gunmetal options I could find elsewhere.
Replaced the solid caseback on my OP-styled build for some extra bling. Next step would be a fancier rotor.
