An incredible faithful recreation, cannot stop wearing it

The Namokimods website has a great selection of pre-built watches, kits along with a great selection of components to customise your watch. The online order process is slick, I chose pre-built and the piece has a flawless fit/finish. The hands, indices and bezel are all nicely coordinated and look like quality components. The bezel action is crisp and all components line up perfectly. The overall design is very close to the BB58 but at a much lower price point! The movement keeps good time and doesn't need winding/wearing as often as my other pieces. The lume is very impressive. The leather strap initially feels stiff but doesn't affect wearing the piece, hopefully it will soften over time. Overall, I would highly recommend Namokimods and I'm already looking at my next purchase..

I love it. Looks very polished. The only thing weird is the bezel action. Sounds like a mountain bike and feels a bit wiggly.
And the clasp from the metal BB58 style band needed a little adjustment.

But otherwise it’s great.

Just love the wrist presence of this watch. The size is perfect and the strap is of great quality. I would recommend this watch if you are looking for something like the Pilot Pioneer.

My first Namoki purchase and I will definitely be buying another. Really enjoying the watch.

Excellent quality and good value. The lether strap it comes with is ok but I would have preferred to have the option to select the bracelet instead. I had to purchase the corresponding bracelet separetly, hence adding to the final cost.

Très belle montre NMK11 BB59, juste la perle réfléchissante du triangle rouge de la couronne n’est pas très réussie : forme trop volumineuse par rapport au triangle rouge, le cerclage du point luminova est minimaliste, sa luminescence est faiblarde et pas à la hauteur de la luminescence des index mais l’effet passe quand même. L’action de la lunette est cool, plus facile que celui de mes autres Seiko! Très bel ensemble.
Le mouvement NH36, à gardé ses disques de date et jour ce qui provoque une position fantôme de la couronne. Il est assez bien réglé : trop de beat error (0,9) mais exact (4sec/d)
Le bracelet cuir d’origine est de bonne facture, avec des pompes rapides ce qui est agréable mais il est trop épais (3,2mm) pour permettre une boucle classique double plis avec sécurité (ép.2,8mm max) que j’utilise toujours . Je l’ai remplacé par un bracelet cuir Motown Teck de chez SELECT-HEURE en cuir qui respecte le coté chaud du décor de cette montre.
Une belle tool watch dont j’ai déjà eu des compliments.

I like this watch. Going to modify it but as a base it’s good. The blue leather straps however had some inconsistent coloring, however I was planning on changing otherwise.

Anyway , glad there is a day date wheel included underneath. I’ll swap out the dial once I find one I like.

I was surprised how nicely the watch is assembled. The movement was regulated very well +4 to +6 sec per day when worn normally. I did change the case back to a 200m rated back instead of the slim case back which is 50m. I highly recommend either a single piece military strap or an old school Komfit metal band for this watch. Both look great. The thin bezel doesn't present a lot of grip area so it's easiest to use by gripping at the 12 and 6 position and turning so your fingers can fit between the lugs for a better grip (it turns very easily that way). One question I have is the description says it's using an NH36A, are the day and date wheels still on the movement?

i was very happy on first receiving and wearing this watch. It is quite a beautiful timepiece. However, i did have difficulty rotating the bezel and dried various tactics. Running it under water, I would then be able to turn it but each time that was just a temporary solution. in the end i took a closer look under the bonnet so to speak and had to remove the bezel to re-insert it. This seemed to fix the problem (there seemed to be a surplus gasket which was perhaps causing the problem) but unfortunately in so doing i damaged the bezel insert which I have now had to replace (i found an acceptable one on Amazon). To be fair to Namoki i didn't contact them to discuss the problem and they perhaps would have offered a solution but as I am in the UK I didn't want to deal with any international postage delays. On the plus side too, I have now learnt how to remove bezel and replace bezel inserts so my first steps into 'modding'. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
