Good movement, but watch out for factory over-oiling

Initially, the movement kept stalling consistently at the 55-second mark out of the box. My watchmaker inspected it and found factory over-oiling in the escapement area, which created drag and caused the seconds hand to stop. After cleaning off the excess oil, it is running brilliantly at + or - 1 s/d, and the movement itself is performing great now. The photo was taken directly with my phone since I didn't have time to capture the professional timegrapher readout.

does not work

Bought one, regulated by Namoki watchmakers. I replaced my previous 4R36 with this one and expected it to work as the reviews said. Sadly, the second hand stops completely at the 55-minute mark; after a while, it continues ticking before stopping again at 55 minutes. It is very disappointing.

Great Movement

It’s not a looker but it’s solid. I paid for “regulated”. When I had it on the timegraph I was shocked by the stability and accuracy (+0-3sec)

NH35 Faux Seiko Diver

I've gotten into piecing and repairing watches after retirement. Namoki has been a great source of reliable parts.

New movement for an old watch

Replaced the old 7S36A in my vintage Seiko Sport 5. Now I have a windable, hackable, upgraded watch to add to my daily rotation. Sweet!

Happy as always

Having just used a Namoki NH35 for a different build, and having it be -3 seconds per day unregulated, I was ready to have to work on this one a bit. Nope it was +4. Either way, works perfectly and couldn't be happier.

Better regulated than a new Seiko!

Just built a new watch and this movement was already more accurate out of the box than a new Seiko. Now I know that Is't always the experience, but It was a nice suprise!

Day-date movement black

Very nice looking under the right dial. Challenging to use with glass dials.

Regulated movement was worth it!

Movement is easy to work with and the $15 extra to get it regulated was worth it. Keeps accurate time and works well in my watch. Pic is from "Watch Accuracy Meter" app so take it with a grain of salt, but this regulated NH35 outperforms the way my Seiko SRPD (with the Seiko version of the NH36) was regulated from factory by a wide margin!

Stunning movement

Beautiful looking movement, I used it along with a full dial just to maintain the black and gold theme. Just a note since I missed this out, you need to order the grey spacer ring for the movement, it's not included and I dint realise I needed it seperately

NH71 movement

Built my wife a watch using this movement, 36mm black explorer case and perpetual pink dial. Absolutely stunning

GMT Build

I am a life-long fan of an MLB team whose colors are orange and black (at home those are usually on a white uniform), and I got it in my head that it would be nice to have a watch in matching colors, so I set about building one.

The case and crystal choices were simply because I needed something that was compatible with the NH34 GMT movement, which was the other requirement of this build as my company's home office is in a different time zone than I currently reside in. Over all I'm pleased with the way this came out. There were a couple of snags as I went through this process, but overall it was easy, fun, and well, like I said, I like the result.

At some point, it appears that the date wheel has gotten out of alignment. I'm not exactly sure how, but I can see it and am going to have to go in and see if I can't get is sorted.

Works wonderfully

I had this project in mind for a long time to create a gold skeleton watch with an ordinary case. This movement worked wonderfully and able to get the spacer ring on easily and works wonderfully keeping good time.

Beautiful movement

This movement ticked all the boxes for my BB58 build. Paired with a gold Geneve rotor and sapphire case back it really makes the watch

Regulated NH35a is indeed regulated

I needed this movement for an Seiko SKX007 mod I was finishing. I purchased the regulated version and it is indeed running +7 sec a day! (I prefer it run slightly fast to slightly slow). Five stars!
