The clasp is well made. The locking mechanism and the safety latch both work well and have tight tolerance so they don't jangle or make noise. Feels solid when you secure it.

Ordered two to pick the better as a replacement for my orient.
Both clasps had excellent finishes with polished sides and brushed upper.
One of the safety locks was a bit stiff in operation so used the smoother of the two. Very happy.
