A sweet build

A bit smaller than I normally build - but I like it.

Great unique case

I was really enjoy having a dive internal bezel and a gmt outer fixed bezel. This has quickly become my daily on the namoki bracelet. I buy parts from all over, but namoki always has a soft spot in my heart for quality and uniqueness.

Go anywhere, do anything

This is a great case to fully customize your watch. Multiple time zones without the GMT movement, internal dive timer, GMT and compass! Great combinations.
My only concern is that the bezel crown doesn’t feel snug, and can move. Not sure I trust it to be waterproof.
Other than that, great case

Woodgrain Alpinist Urchin Inspired GMT

I've enjoyed building this Alpinist case & Urchin hands inspired watch, with a blue wood-grain dial. I love how I have built my own 3-time zone watch.

Beautiful Case

The case looks great, feels solid, and is definitely one of my favorite builds yet.

Cool but defective product

I have to say this case looks great. But it is defective only after 4 months of limited use in watch rotation.

The chapter ring rattle horribly and sounds so cheap and broken.

Superb case!

Couldn’t be happier with how this turned out! Exceptional quality.

Alpine Inspired Case

Lovely case design and really like the option to change the inner rotating bezel. Straightforward to assemble and there are a few YouTube videos out there that show you how to assemble, too.

The only thing that doesn't make this a 5/5 is that turning of the inner bezel once the crystal is assembled. It felt a bit stiff in places. Thankfully I had some silicone grease handy and it works fine now. I also prefer Namoki's cases with the drilled lugs. It makes bracelet changes easier if someone doesn't have quick-release straps.

Aside from that, a great design and love what the Namoki team are doing!

Straightforward Project Assembly

The finish and fitment of the NAMOKIMODS bundle/kit component s reflects true care & craftsmanship. It makes for the ability to create a truly customized piece, like this Custom Namoki NMK951 Alpinist-style GMT build, powered by the Seiko NH34 automatic GMT movement, with a gradient blue/orange dial and compass 24-hour bezel.

Batteries Not Required

This all started after I recently took my daughter camping. Of all the things to take, I didn't bring a charger for my smartwatch. Which made me stop to think... If I am going into the wild to "get away from it all" I should do just that. This is my first build. Love how it turned out. Great quality parts.

Wonderful case

I’m absolutely thrilled with how the build turned out, excellent quality parts and had fun putting it all together. The end result is spectacular and looks like the real deal.

Alpinist case and jubilee

Love this case, not exactly a perfect replica as you can find original cases for sale from seiko online, but the inner rotating dial may be even tighter than the original, and dropping in an NH 36 is super easy to make your build for a fraction of what alpinist are going for these days. The jubilee bracelet looks fantastic, but it's not as solid or as wide as the mil-spec brands, which won't fit anyways, so you're kinda forced to get the matching Namoki brand bracelet. Be aware that it slims down to 16mm, almost looks too thin for a men's watch. But still one of my favorite builds and Namoki quality is excellent otherwise. Everything fits well, and the bracelet has screws instead of push pins! Namoki has great response time and excellent return policy. They are fast and fair in their response time too.

I love this watch

I’ve always loved the look and feel of the Seiko Alpinist—especially the original design without the Cyclops, which is harder to find in newer models. I also enjoy tinkering with watches, so getting to build my own version was a real treat. I love wearing it—not just for how it looks, but also because it often sparks conversations that lead to sharing my passion for watchmaking.

That said, I did run into a bit of trouble when I lost one of the caseback screws, which meant I couldn’t wear the watch for months. I searched everywhere for a replacement and finally reached out to Namoki for support. They were super helpful and understanding, and I really appreciated their support.

I highly recommend this casestyle and Namoki. The watch's look is beautiful, and their customer support is top-notch.

Black GMT alpine case

Really happy with this case, the perfect base for my 1655/alpinist combination. Well finished, great proportions and very comfortable. The inner bezel has a super smooth rotation that operates like a dream.

The bracelet is a Riyi002 oyster bracelet, a good alternative but the jubilee bracelet I personally have is a good quality one too.

Almost Outstanding....

Just finished this "slightly customized Alpinist GMT" with this case (black chapter ring & brushed GMT bezel) and NH34 GMT, and compared to my original "Alpinist" - I've got to say - the chapter ring in the Namoki case is actually a better fit, without any ring "slop" and misalignment often found in the "S" versions. A huge "Kudo" to Namoki - well done! HOWEVER!!! For over $170 for the "Bundle" it does NOT include a case back??! Are you kidding? This isn't a case "bundle" which includes what you need, omitting mention anywhere in the description you MUST BUY a case back separately... I did however get a chuckle you included a gasket for the non-existent back..? Ahhh - the irony in that... ;) Stunning case otherwise - and highly recommended!

Pretty nice Alpinist Case!

Honestly really like the case and quality. Only downside I have is I'm pretty sure the case lugs are a "custom" fit for SELs, doesn't come with caseback for $170, and they couldn't add a cyclops. Other than that, decent. I added my own cyclops.

With 10 being a genuine alpinist, I'd say it's sitting at a 7-8.

Alpinist smooth bezel

Excellent finishing, with a very good polish across the case. The installation is simple and works well with the screws in the back. My only gripe would be I feel it should have had drilled lugs for easier strap changes and an even more tooltastic feel.
