Le Miyota 90S5 est un mouvement japonais haut de gamme, largement utilisé par les micro-marques de premier plan pour sa durabilité et son profil mince.
Avec une épaisseur de seulement 3,9 mm, il est 30,8 % plus fin que le Seiko NH35, permettant ainsi des designs de montres plus épurés. Grâce à une précision accrue et une fréquence d'oscillation supérieure de 28 800 alternances par heure, assurant un mouvement plus fluide de la trotteuse, le Miyota 90S5 constitue une option haut de gamme pour les horlogers souhaitant créer des garde-temps d'exception.
Le Miyota 90S5 possède également un design à cœur ouvert (également appelé balancier ouvert) sur le cadran autour de la position 5 heures, ce qui permet des montages avec des cadrans à cœur ouvert !

Although it's my first build, had no issues. Added blued screws for the rotor.
Looks great and keeps accurate time. Glad I got this movement for my SKX007 build.
I picked up this Miyota 9015 from Namoki at the beginning of this year. This is my first build with the movement and I was a bit worried about using it versus the NH series. I was very happy when I got to building to see how straight forward it was. The movement came running within spec from the factory. Mine sits at about +10 seconds per day which is well within spec. During the build, I definitely made some slips and beat on this movement but it kept running perfectly.
I would highly recommend building with this movement. Disclaimer for my build, I have a custom movement holder to fit the SRPE case but aside from that, the movement is great.

Love it better than the NH series
The finishing and operation of the 9015 movement is definitely a few levels above the NH35. It is not as user friendly as the NH35 though and I would only recommend for more experienced builders
