First introduced circa 1960s as an alternative to metal bracelets, the Tropic rubber strap quickly gained popularity amongst divers. With its unique crosshatched basket weave pattern and diamond perforations, it is definitely one of the most iconic strap designs out there today.

We love the vintage look and feel they bring to any watch build. Seiko even put them on the original 62MAS!

Does the Job

Received as a result of an issue I had with a metal bracelet. For that I have to give top marks to Jay and the team. The strap does what it's advertised as. Only thing I would recommend is slightly wider spring bars to reduce play of the strap. The wide spring bars that come with some of the Namokimods Pilot and Field kits fit perfectly.
