Fun Tatsache - 1981 veröffentlichte Seiko das Silverwave Cockpit - 2628-0040, die allererste Uhr mit einem Cockpit-Instrument-Stil. Es gewann den japanischen Good Design Award aus dem Ministerium für internationale Handel und Industrie, und Sie haben es erraten, hatte einen quadratischen Fall!

I chose this case for my first build and everything went smoothly due to the fit and finish.
Perfect case and nice quality for this original project.
I really like this case a lot. I didn't have any issue with it being tight with the movement, it slides in and out nicely. I DID have issues with one of the screws and bolts (the top one is the bolt) being cross threaded. When I used the wrong screw with the wrong bolt, it wouldn't hold. As I was regulating the movement, I managed to accidentally figure out which screw went to which bolt, and voila, solid as a rock. SO, when you remove the screws, make sure to pair them with the bolt they came out of. I just hand tighten them together and toss them in a cup :-).
But, I wanted a square GMT, and I got me a square GMT. The strap is the Namoki black pilot.
This case wears REALLY big because of the square shape, which is what I wanted (I'm a bit of a giant), but be aware :-).

This is by far the heaviest case Namoki has, not that this is a bad thing. nice finishing, also the screws are aligned, something b&r still didn't manage to do lol
The black cake is very cool and is one of my favorite mods.
I am thinking about how to modify the silver case.

Fantastic build and quality
This is a lovely case, and quite unique, with a nice mix of brushed and polished finishes. The suggested crystal is also excellent, very clear with fantastic AR. The only words of caution I would give are that the movement is quite a tight fit and so is the bezel (you may choose to use a thinner bezel gasket). The edges of the back are a touch sharp too and I polished mine a little to cure this. The attached picture also shows the NamokiMODS polished, coin edge bezel, which is also very nice.

Love the B&R style case. All parts fit perfectly for this build and are high quality. Really love the brushed stainless steel w/ polished edges, screw heads, & crown, which give the prefect contrast. The coin edge bezel fits great and turns smoothly.
