NMK314 SKX/SRPD Slim Flat Sapphire Crystal for Flat Inserts
We all know how much of a chonky boy the SKX is and over here at namokiMODS we’re a little obsessed with making it as slim and sleek as possible so we designed a range of Slim Bezels and Crystals to shave off some much needed extra pounds off the SKX007/SRPD.
This NMK314 SKX007/SRPD Slim Flat Sapphire Crystal is designed to be installed with our SKX007 Slim fixed bezels (like our Slim GMT or BB Pro bezels) or Slim rotating bezels paired with a flat SKX007 bezel insert.
Paired with a flat bezel insert, our Slim Flat Crystal and Caseback, you can have a SKX007 build that comes in at a thickness of 12.0mm, that’s 10% slimmer than the stock SKX007 that’s 13.3mm thick!

This was my first time replacing a crystal on a watch and it took a while but it turned out ok. The slightly domed crystal looks great on my Seiko SRPD55 "5KX".

Finished off this build perfectly with that beveled edge.
Made my interpretation of a Skx171 look like something they might've released from the factory.
It fit lovely against the height of my coin edge bezel with NMK 62mas ceramic insert.
One complaint I have is that they automatically come with a clear crystal gasket which did not look good in my build, ordered a new black one but wish there was a choice when purchasing it.
First time installing an arch shape crystal and it looks great!

This gives the watch a classy look and magnifies the edges of the indices. Makes them very easy to read at a quick glance.

Saphire crystal is must have for everyday watches, but when AR colour matches dial it creates awesome light show!
I am a life-long fan of an MLB team whose colors are orange and black (at home those are usually on a white uniform), and I got it in my head that it would be nice to have a watch in matching colors, so I set about building one.
The case and crystal choices were simply because I needed something that was compatible with the NH34 GMT movement, which was the other requirement of this build as my company's home office is in a different time zone than I currently reside in. Over all I'm pleased with the way this came out. There were a couple of snags as I went through this process, but overall it was easy, fun, and well, like I said, I like the result.
I'm super happy with the AR, but I do think this crystal may have come with a gasket on it, that I just couldn't see. I had trouble at first getting this to seat as it seems that there were two gaskets trying to in (one that I put in and one that has to have been on the crystal, but that couldn't/didn't see). Once I got it down to the right number of gaskets (1), it went in without issue and looks great!
Took two attempts to make it flush with the chapter ring, but it looks great.
the cyclops is so clean with the magnifying, also the blue AR is beautiful
