The NMK914 Captain Willard 6105 SKX Conversion Case in PVD Black Finish pays homage to the now legendary 1976 Seiko Diver Ref. 6105-8110 "Captain Willard", most famously known as the watch was worn on screen by Captain Willard, portrayed by Martin Sheen in the cult-classic “Apocalypse Now”. We love the funky pillow shaped case that started it all!

Gold plating started wearing off immediately. Now more like a faded gold with stainless streaks on the edges. Do not buy if you want a gold case.
Long overdue review.
I've been wearing this watch made from this case in the last 2 months. I've got to say, it brings a smile to my face every time.
I'd been in love with the Willard design for quite some time, and namokimods had had nothing but great reviews across all public forums, so decided to pull the trigger.
The quality is good. All parts fit perfectly, and outside of user error, had no issues with it on the build.
A nit... I do wish this case were a little more "pudgy" like the current modern willard lineups,i.e. the SPB151. I can only assume this isn't as pudgy due to this being an SKX parts case.
